The Estes Winter Arts Festival was supposed to be a bright spot in the middle of January with its color, music, and ice sculptures. I’d promised myself I wouldn’t get tangled up in another mystery. I was sticking to books, tea, and finally getting back to some writing like I swore I would last spring.
